Geoff Dance

Geoff Dance is an experienced professional in the life sciences sector, currently serving as a Senior FAS and Team Leader at Standard BioTools since January 2024. Prior experience includes roles at Automata, focusing on the integration of science and technology, and at sengenics as a Field Application Scientist specializing in biomarker discovery for cancer and autoimmune diseases. Dance has also held positions at Solentim, where contributions to cell line development workflows were notable. Further experience includes serving as an International Applications Scientist at Molecular Devices and as a Senior Field Application Scientist at LI-COR Biosciences, where technical support and customer engagement were key responsibilities. Dance began a career in academia with post-doctoral roles at the University of Cambridge, University of Rochester, and University of Glasgow, following a D.Phil in Molecular Biology from the University of Oxford.
