Steve McPhail

Steve McPhail is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the biotechnology and medical device industries. Currently serving as GM of Applied Markets at Fluidigm Corporation since May 2015, McPhail oversees global management and development in production genomics and applied markets. As President and CEO of Expression Analysis, Inc. since February 2003, McPhail has led the company in providing genomic technology solutions, achieving over 30% CAGR annually. Previous roles include President of EA at Quintiles Transnational Corporation, where McPhail managed the worldwide genomic services business, and EVP and COO at Argomed, Inc., along with several key positions in sales and marketing at companies such as Xanthon, TriPath Imaging, and Dynex Technologies. McPhail's career began at Abbott Laboratories Diagnostics Division, where various progressively responsible roles were held over eleven years. McPhail holds a BS in Biology from San Diego State University.
