Steve Otte

Steve Otte has extensive experience in software operations and application development, currently serving as Director of Software Operations at Standard BioTools since January 2022. Otte's responsibilities include managing custom-built customer-facing application development and QA testing, alongside overseeing an IT budget and vendor relations while leading a diverse team of 15 resources. Previous roles include Director of Application Software Development at WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone, where Otte transformed software processes for over 150 applications, and Senior Delivery Manager at Tech Mahindra, managing development and implementation of services across cross-functional teams. Otte’s career also includes key positions at Charter Communications, Sprint, Ericsson, IBM, and Sprint Nextel, with a solid foundation in application development and project management. Otte holds a BA in Computer Information Systems from Washburn University and an AA in Business from Johnson County Community College, complemented by service as a Petty Officer Second Class in the United States Navy.
