Suan Jap

Suan Jap has extensive experience in the biotechnology and medical diagnostics industries, currently serving as the Director of Design Transfer R&D at Standard BioTools since May 2018, with previous roles including Senior Manager and Manager in Manufacturing, Science and Engineering. At Standard BioTools, responsibilities include creating Device Master Records, overseeing process validation, and supporting R&D on new products. Prior to this, Suan Jap worked at Luminex Corporation for over a decade, progressing from R&D Laboratories Manager to roles involving process validation and production management, significantly contributing to the development of next-generation products and managing high-demand production during critical periods. Earlier experience includes a position as a Manufacturing Technologist at Tm Bioscience Inc. and serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Windsor. Suan Jap holds a Master of Science in eHealth from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Windsor.
