Tom Carey

Tom Carey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within various organizations. As the Founder and Partner of Perspective Group LLC since January 2015, Tom has played a pivotal role in shaping business strategies. In January 2024, Tom became the Chair of the Board of Directors at Standard BioTools and has also served on the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society since January 2020. Prior involvement includes being a Board member at SomaLogic and Exact Sciences, and Chair of the Board at Vital Bio from March 2019 to April 2023. Tom's earlier career includes significant positions such as Principal at Spencer Stuart and Partner at Russell Reynolds Associates. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Physics from the College of the Holy Cross.
