Jonathan Hatch

Jonathan Hatch is a Senior Advisor and Lawyer in the Strategic Intelligence group of ASIC's Innovation Hub, specializing in Fintech, Insurtech, Wealthtech, and AI technologies. With an academic role at RMIT University and the University of Sydney, Jonathan teaches various subjects related to blockchain, digital governance, and cybersecurity. Involvement in Standards Australia as a member of the Australian AI Working Group enhances Jonathan's influence in AI standardization efforts. Previous experience includes corporate counsel roles at OnePath, Oasis Asset Management, and ING Australia, where Jonathan managed significant projects and legal compliance in financial services. Jonathan holds a Master of Law and Legal Practice from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney.
