Jake Weigel

Jake Weigel is a Professor of Art at California State University, Stanislaus, where since August 2017, significant contributions have included the establishment of the Warrior Fab Lab and leadership roles such as Faculty Fellow for Career & Professional Education and Council for Sustainable Futures. Weigel has played a pivotal role in obtaining a $240,000 grant for the CSU Hispanic Serving Institution Community Building initiative and has extensive teaching experience across multiple institutions, including the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and Mississippi State University. Additionally, Weigel has authored articles for the International Sculpture Center, served in various capacities related to public art, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership. Academic qualifications include an MFA in Sculpture from the University of Mississippi and a BFA in Sculpture from the University of Minnesota.
