Mark Bender is the Endowed Chair for Agriculture at CSU Stanislaus, a position held since 2002. Prior to this role, they served as Professor and Dean of Agriculture at Modesto Junior College from 1976 to 2002. Mark earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Education, Vocational Education, and Agricultural Resource Economics from Oregon State University, and holds a Master of Agricultural Sciences from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from California State University Fresno.
