Robert Rogers serves as an Associate Professor at California State University, Stanislaus since August 2006, focusing research on Cenozoic geodynamics in Middle America, Mesozoic history of the southern North America Cordillera, and the interplay between active tectonics and landscape evolution in tropical environments. Previously, Robert held the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Puerto Rico from January 2004 to June 2006, and worked as a Scientist and project manager at Foster Wheeler Environmental from May 1993 to January 1999, gaining experience in watershed analysis and modeling. Additionally, Robert contributed as a Volunteer Geologist in the Peace Corps in Honduras from September 1989 to June 1992, where significant geological mapping and research were conducted. Academically, Robert earned a Ph.D. in Geology from The University of Texas at Austin, an M.S. in Earth Resources with a focus on Geomorphology from Colorado State University, and a B.S. in Geology from Appalachian State University.
