Alphonso Raats

Alphonso Raats has extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as Head of Equities and Derivatives Trading at Stanlib Asset Management since July 1999. In this role, Alphonso executes equity and derivatives orders, manages relationships with service providers, mentors junior staff, and oversees the onboarding process for execution services. Prior to this, Alphonso worked as an Equity Sales Trader at BOE Securities, focusing on institutional client servicing, and began a career as an Equity Trader at SMK Securities. Alphonso holds a Master's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from North-West University, complemented by education at Potchefstroom Gimnasium.
