Karabo Shole

Karabo Shole has extensive experience in compliance within the finance and investment sectors, currently serving as the Chief Compliance Officer at STANLIB since September 2017. Shole has held various leadership roles at STANLIB, including Acting Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Investment Compliance and Trade Surveillance. Prior experience includes serving as a Compliance Officer at Prescient Holdings (Pty) Ltd, focusing on investment compliance monitoring and regulatory oversight across several acts including the Collective Investment Schemes Act and the Pension Fund Act. Shole’s career also includes a managerial position at Nedbank in Collective Investment Schemes, following a graduate trainee role. Education includes completion of the Nedbank Middle Management Program at Gordon Institute of Business Science and a BCom Hons in Investment Management from the University of Johannesburg, where Shole is currently pursuing further studies.
