Marisa Bester

Marisa Bester currently serves as the Executive Director of SolareffConnect at Solareff, focusing on renewable energy financing and providing clients with stable, lower-cost green electricity through long-term power purchase agreements. Since May 2013, Marisa has been a Portfolio Manager for Infrastructure Investments Private Equity at STANLIB, managing investments for the STANLIB Infrastructure Fund and holding board positions with various companies, including Greenstreet Investments and Kouga Wind Farm. Past roles include serving as COO for the Infrastructure Investments team at STANLIB Asset Management and managing leverage and acquisition finance at Standard Bank. Marisa is pursuing an Executive Masters in Management of Energy from BI Norwegian Business School, following a B.Comm Honours in Management Accounting from Stellenbosch University.
