Melinda Govender

Melinda Govender holds an MBA and has extensive experience in the financial services and investment sectors. Currently, as Head of Investment at STANLIB since April 2019, Melinda has been instrumental in establishing a modern investment platform for financial advisers. Prior roles include serving as a Regulatory & Project Specialist at PPS where Melinda implemented Solvency & Assessment Management and advised on insurance regulations, as well as working as a Regulatory Risk Management Specialist at Telesure Group Services. Melinda's career also includes positions as a Financial Controller and Accountant, demonstrating a strong background in regulatory compliance, project management, financial reporting, and risk assessment. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration and multiple honors degrees in Business and Managerial Economics.
