Tim Brown

Tim Brown currently serves as the Interim CIO for Group Investment Platform at STANLIB since October 2022. Previously, Tim held the position of Group Head of IT at Catalinare from October 2021 to October 2022. Tim has extensive leadership experience, having worked as Managing Director at Global Edge Technologies from August 2017 to October 2021, and also serving in various roles such as Technical Migration Director for the Quilter wealth platform and Transition Director at Global Edge Technologies. Earlier experience includes tenure as Chief Information Officer at STANLIB from February 2013 to August 2017, and as a Board Member for The National Student Financial Aid Scheme from March 2013 to January 2016. Tim was also a Board Director at Finswitch from March 2009 to February 2013 and Chief Information Officer at Maitland Group from November 2008 to February 2013. Tim earned a PhD in Management of Technology & Innovation from Da Vinci Institute between 2006 and 2008.
