With a strong background at Royal Vopak NV in multiple capacities such as International SHE Advisor and SHEQ & Operations Manager, Wright's career began as a Chemist/Inspector at Intertek Testing Services. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration, a Professional Diploma in Management, and a Professional Certificate in Management from The Open University, complemented by foundational education at Longlands College.
