Stanly County Airport (VUJ) is a county-owned, joint civil-military, public-use airport located at:
43222 Lowder Aviation Parkway
New London, NC 28127 

It is located four nautical miles northeast of the central business district of Albemarle, North Carolina; Just forty-two miles northeast of Charlotte, NC.

Our county offers many features attractive to industry including our modern, Class D towered airport with available industrial property to include the “Prime Power Park” around a 5,500ft runway.

Completed in December of 2010, our gorgeous terminal is approximately 12,000 square feet. Two conference rooms are available for rent with seating for over 25 in one and seating for 8 in the other. Both conference rooms feature audio/visual amenities and video conference call availability. A full kitchen with 2 ice makers is available for food preparation for meetings held in the conference rooms.

Our terminal also includes a spacious and beautiful passenger waiting area with a fireplace, a wide screen TV and wifi throughout. A separate pilots’ lounge includes a shower, TV, computer and direct phone to flight service along with an adjoining quiet room for sleeping. Courtesy vehicle is available for flight crews for a maximum of 2 hours.
