Adam Catherine

Adam Catherine, PE, PTOE, is the Principal and SmartER Mobility Practice Lead Northeast, applying extensive expertise in traffic engineering and transportation planning to create community-sensitive solutions. With a rich project background, Adam has managed various initiatives, including traffic impact studies, transit planning, and pedestrian safety assessments. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Delaware, Adam teaches a biennial course focused on traffic engineering and modeling for students. Previously, Adam held leadership roles at Stantec, overseeing operations and mentoring younger staff in New Jersey. Adam holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware.
