Alex Stapleton, GISP, is an experienced GIS professional with a robust background in technical support and analysis across multiple sectors, including natural resources and renewable energy. At RK&K from June 2014 to October 2020, Alex provided GIS technologies to analyze data and create mapping products for environmental and transportation projects. Prior experience as a GIS Technician/Intern at Towson University Center for GIS from 2011 to 2012 helped Alex develop foundational technical skills and a strong work ethic. Currently serving as a GIS Analyst at Stantec since October 2020, Alex focuses on GIS support for electric power transmission and renewable energy initiatives. Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Sociology, with a GIS minor, from Towson University, graduating Cum Laude.
