Ali Alavi, Ph.D., PE, serves as the Conveyance subsector Lead at Stantec since June 2021. Previously, Ali held the position of Engineering Manager at STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES from October 2019 to June 2021 and was the Head of Department at Xylem Inc. from September 2009 to September 2019. Ali earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University Graduate School between 2005 and 2009.
