Andres Vergara

Andres Vergara has over a decade of experience in project coordination and management within the engineering and consulting sectors, primarily focusing on the mining, energy, and infrastructure industries. From July 2010 to January 2019, Vergara served as Coordinador de Proyectos y Project Manager at Golder, managing large-scale projects exceeding USD 1 million from proposal through execution and closure, utilizing PMP and EVM methodologies. Prior to that, Vergara worked at SGS from March 2009 to July 2010 as Coordinador de gestión, overseeing internal project coordination and financial control according to governmental standards. Vergara's brief stint at Stantec in January 2020 as Project Control Specialist involved financial management and project accounting tasks, enhancing financial understanding both for projects and the organization. Vergara holds a degree in Industrial Engineering with Maximum Distinction from Universidad de Chile, along with previous studies in Architecture at the same institution.
