Andrew O'Connor

Andrew O'Connor is an experienced civil engineer currently serving as a Civil Project Technical Lead at Stantec since April 2020. Having held multiple roles at Stantec, including Senior Civil Engineer and Infrastructure Engineer, Andrew's career began with a Graduate Infrastructure Engineer position at Wood & Grieve Engineers from January 2018 to April 2020, following its acquisition by Stantec. Previous experience includes a Graduate Structural Engineer role at GHD in 2017, and various positions at Optus, a leading telecommunications company, from 2012 to 2017. Andrew's early career included a Trainee Technician role at Afristruct Projects and a Vacation Student position at PD Naidoo & Associates, both focused on gaining valuable experience in engineering. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Queensland University of Technology, completed between 2013 and 2015.
