Andrew Western

Andrew Western has over 18 years of experience in the wastewater management sector, currently serving as Project Technical Lead at Stantec since September 2005. Western's work involves leading various wastewater network modeling projects aimed at reducing spill frequency and enhancing water quality for clients such as Yorkshire Water, Northumbrian Water, and Severn Trent Water. Responsibilities have included managing cross-discipline teams, stakeholder engagement, and employing advanced modeling techniques such as InfoWorks ICM. Prior to Stantec, Andrew worked at Black & Veatch as a Graduate Civil Engineer, focusing on site investigations and CSO discharge impact assessments. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Swansea University and a Master of Science in Environmental & Waste Management from the University of Glamorgan.
