April Welshans, PE, is a Principal at Stantec Consulting Services Inc, bringing over a decade of experience in geotechnical engineering. With a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Ohio University, April has specialized in areas such as coal ash disposal facility design, seismic engineering, and groundwater analysis. April has served as project manager for various significant projects, including the decommissioning of ash ponds at Plant Hammond in Georgia, while also prioritizing strong client relationships and mentoring young engineers.
