Ashraf Zeitoun

Ashraf Zeitoun is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Team Lead at Stantec, overseeing multiple intermediated green financing facilities developed by the EBRD with support from the EU and other multilateral donors since June 2017. Prior to this role, Ashraf was Lead Engineer for the GEFF Egypt financing facility and Technical Advisor for EBRD's GEFF Lebanon. Ashraf's earlier experience includes serving as a Technical Expert at UNIDO for the Industrial Energy Efficiency Project in Egypt and Projects Manager at Firnas Shuman, where Ashraf held various roles during the company's start-up phase. Ashraf began a career as a Mechanical Engineer at WorleyParsons and as a Field Supervisor Engineer at Weatherford. Academic qualifications include an M.Sc. in Oil and Gas Engineering from Robert Gordon University and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Cairo University.
