Bill Ward

Bill Ward is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and intellectual property management. Currently serving as Director of Intellectual Property Capture and Commercialization at Stantec since May 2013, Bill is key in identifying and protecting innovations, developing IP agreements, and providing training on various IP protections. As Vice President at Barbic, Ward and Associates, Bill has overseen engineering services and project management, notably contributing to the CA SR-99 Stormwater pumping plant project. Bill's earlier roles include serving on the Board of Directors for the Charles River Conservancy and working as a Capital Program Engineer at Golden State Water Company. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor and Master of Studies in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School, a Master of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
