Brian James

Brian James, CSI, CDT, currently serves as a Specifications Writer at Stantec since March 2024. Previously, Brian held the title of Specifications and Code Specialist at Bostwick Design Partnership, where responsibilities included managing construction specifications for various projects. Brian's extensive experience also includes roles as CAD/BIM Manager at EDG2, Document Configuration Manager, and Sr. Specifications Engineer at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, where significant contributions were made to technical records and specifications development. Earlier positions included Project Coordinator at Nacht & Lewis Architects and Job Captain at multiple architectural firms, where expertise in producing construction documents for residential and educational projects was demonstrated. Brian holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Houston, awarded in 1995.
