Brian Weinstein

Brian Weinstein is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in defense and maritime leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Principal and Defense Ports and Maritime Leader at Stantec since January 2021, Weinstein previously held multiple leadership roles in the US Navy from January 1995 to August 2020, including Vice Commander, where oversight included 11 direct reports and a budget of $1 billion per year, managing a workforce of 9,500 employees. Additional roles included Executive Officer and Operations Officer, with responsibilities ranging from supervising substantial budgets to leading diverse teams in facilities engineering at various Navy installations worldwide. Brian Weinstein holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems Technology from The United States Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with further business education from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
