Carmella Caltagirone

Carmella Caltagirone, PE, has a solid background in environmental engineering, having worked as a Staff Environmental Engineer at Burns & McDonnell from June 2016 to September 2021 and currently serving as a Civil Engineer at Stantec, focusing on the design of water and wastewater treatment and conveyance systems for municipal and industrial applications. Carmella's experience also includes a role as Hall Director at Colorado School of Mines, where responsibilities included supervising students and responding to crisis situations, as well as serving as a Business/Technical Intern II at Denver Water, contributing to the self-assessment for the Partnership for Safe Water and performing unit process design analysis. Carmella holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering and a Master of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering, both from Colorado School of Mines.
