Carrie Friedman Barton

Carrie Friedman Barton is an accomplished professional in environmental project management, with extensive experience in environmental planning and permitting services. Carrie's career commenced with roles as a teacher and analyst at Harvard-Westlake School and other companies from 1998 to 2003, leading to a strong foundation in presentation and Excel skills. Since 2003, Carrie has held various project management positions, including Project Manager at Ultrasystems Environmental and Senior Environmental Scientist at Burns & McDonnell, focusing on environmental impact analyses, compliance documents, and renewable energy projects. Currently, as a Senior Associate and Senior Environmental Project Manager at Stantec, responsibilities include managing large-scale renewable energy projects, public utility commission applications, and promoting sustainable practices. Carrie holds a Master’s degree in Geology and Geochemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Earth Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
