Chris Yakimak, P.Eng. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in acquisitions and corporate development. Currently serving as Director of Acquisitions at Stantec since October 2010, Chris is responsible for transaction origination, negotiation of valuation and terms, due diligence management, and integration of acquired organizations. Previously, Chris held roles as Manager of Acquisitions and Corporate Development Associate, contributing to the City of Edmonton as a Transportation Engineer, where zoning and development application responses, along with cost estimates for municipal agreements, were key responsibilities. Chris holds an MBA in Finance and a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Project Management, both from the University of Alberta.
