Christopher Barry is a highly experienced hydrogeologist with a focus on mining, currently serving as Principal Hydrogeologist at WSP since November 2024, while also working as a Hydrogeologist at Stantec since July 2017. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Hydrogeologist at the University of Birmingham from September 2013 to July 2017, where a NERC PhD, CASE studentship was completed, supported by Severn Trent Water Ltd. and the Environment Agency. Christopher also gained early experience as a Summer Placement Geophysicist at CGG in 2012, contributing to a project involving the processing of 3-D seismic data from offshore Western Turkey. Academic credentials include a PhD in Hydrogeology from the University of Birmingham and an MSci in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Cambridge.
