Daniel Ataalla

Daniel Ataalla is a GIS Analyst at Stantec, where employment began in June 2019. Concurrently, Daniel has served as a Genius at Apple since September 2017. Previous experience includes positions as a Geographic Information System Intern at the Washington DC Economic Partnership and a Geospatial Specialist at the University of Maryland. Additional roles comprise GIS Research Support Specialist at Westat and Manager on Duty at Columbia Association, which involved maintaining lifeguarding skills and providing assistance to guests. Daniel has also worked as an Arabic Language Partner at the University of Maryland at College Park. Daniel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of Maryland and is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Information Assurance from the University of Maryland Global Campus, expected to be completed in April 2025.
