David Holmes is a seasoned environmental consultant with over 37 years of experience in brownfield projects and environmental assessments. Currently serving as the Technical Leader for Stantec Consulting Services Inc.'s National Asset Transformation and Brownfield Program since 2009, David is responsible for developing best practices and innovation within the program. Previous roles include Principal and Senior Associate, where expertise in writing grant applications and assisting clients in implementing innovative strategies was established. Prior experience includes managing environmental projects as a Senior Hydrogeologist at Symbiont and GeoTrans, with a strong focus on clients in both the public and private sectors. David holds a Master's Degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and has completed coursework toward a PhD in Freshwater Sciences at the same institution.
