David Jasper is currently the Environmental Science Technical Leader at Stantec in Perth, where they assist project teams with proposals and reporting and focus on restoration ecology, soil science, and mine closure. David aims to stimulate innovation in operations, recently applying remote sensing and eDNA in their work. Previously, David held roles as Chief Scientist at Stantec and as Director and Principal Scientist at Outback Ecology. With a long-standing commitment to environmental science, David also served as Director at the UWA Centre for Land Rehabilitation from 1985 to 2002, and worked as Principal Scientist at MWH Global before its acquisition by Stantec. David is pursuing a BSc Agric (Hons) and a PhD in Soil Science at UWA.
