David Thatcher

David Thatcher, PEng, PE, has been with Stantec since May 2000, currently serving as the North American Roadway Sector Lead and Vice President, overseeing the Roadway Sector in Canada and the Northern and Eastern United States. Previously, David held the role of Transportation Planning & Traffic Engineering Discipline Lead for Canada and also for Western Canada. In addition to his work at Stantec, David has been a member of the Traffic Engineering Council Executive Committee for the Institute of Transportation Engineers since March 2017 and served as Chair of the 2013 Local Arrangements Committee for the Canadian Institute of Transportation Engineers. David's career began at Vollmer Associates as a Project Manager from May 2000 to April 2007. David obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rowan University between 1996 and 2000.
