Derek Crowe

Derek Crowe, PE, is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in innovative and energy-efficient mechanical system designs. Since July 2011, Derek has served as a Senior Associate and Mechanical Team Leader at Stantec, focusing on the national higher education market with an emphasis on sustainability through LEED and the AIA 2030 Challenge. Prior to this role, Derek contributed as a Senior Associate at Peter Basso Associates from January 1995 to July 2011, where responsibilities included ensuring the technical, financial, and client success of mechanical designs for various sectors, including healthcare and education. Derek began their career as a Head Usher at AMC Theatres from May 1991 to December 1994. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, obtained in 1997.
