Derek Naude

Derek Naude is a Shaft and Hoisting Plant Specialist Consultant at Stantec since November 2017, with extensive operational, engineering, design, and construction experience in shaft hoisting plants, high lift high volume pumping systems, material handling systems, and mining infrastructure. Prior to this role, Derek served as Shaft and Hoisting Specialist and Business Center Sector Lead at RSV International Engineering Services Limited from September 2008 to February 2019, acting as Project Principal and overseeing specialized engineering design for international mining projects. Derek holds a National Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering obtained from 1990 to 1994.
