Doug Rounds

Doug Rounds is a Lead Structural Engineer at Stantec with twenty years of design experience in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures across various commercial and industrial projects. Their expertise includes structural analysis, design drawings, feasibility studies, and forensic analysis, with notable projects such as the Hyde Lounge Addition at Bellagio and the Margaritaville Casino at Flamingo. Doug previously served as a Project Manager at Lochsa Engineering and as a Structural Engineer at Brizendine Engineering and Blakely, Johnson, and Ghusn. They have also been an Adjunct Professor at the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas since 2009. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering, specializing in Structural Engineering, from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
