Doug Weir is an experienced leader in the public transport sector, currently serving as the ANZ Practice Leader for Public Transport at Stantec since May 2018. Previously, Doug held various roles at Traffic Design Group (TDG) as Sector Leader and National Specialist in Public Transport, as well as working as a Senior Advisor for Public Transport Investment at NZ Transport Agency. Doug's expertise was further developed during tenure as a Senior Public Transport Planner at Greater Wellington Regional Council and as a Senior Consultant for Transport Planning & Policy at Booz Allen Hamilton. Doug holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Transport & Logistics from Lincoln University and a NZ Certificate in Engineering (Civil) from Unitec.
