Douglas Barnard

Douglas Barnard is a Senior Principal in Asset Management at Cardno GS, Inc., specializing in the life-cycle management of large facility portfolios from planning through construction and operations. With a strong background that includes serving as a Civil Engineer Corps Officer in the US Navy and directing facilities at the Virginia State Corporation Commission, Douglas has extensive experience in optimizing facility utilization and maintenance. Currently, they lead an Enterprise Asset Management group at AMEC Foster Wheeler Environment & Infrastructure Inc. and continue to contribute to the field through their role at Stantec. Douglas holds a Master’s degree in Construction Management from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Idaho.
