Edwin Kan

Edwin Kan is a civil engineer with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with First-class honours from the University of New South Wales. Edwin has held various roles throughout a professional career that spans practical training, research, and senior structural engineering positions. Early experience includes a practical trainee position at Gamuda Berhad, contributing to the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit railway project, and acting as a student researcher at the University of New South Wales, focusing on the bending analysis of laminated composite plates. Subsequently, Edwin worked as a structural engineer at Taylor Thomson Whitting where responsibilities included the design and analysis of significant CBD residential and commercial projects. Currently, as a Senior Structural Engineer at Stantec, Edwin leads project technical design and documentation, managing projects with substantial budgets and collaborating with external teams.
