Community Water Planner

Emily Ng is a Community Water Planner at Stantec, focusing on risk assessments, public engagement, and community-centered planning for water resilience across California. Emily collaborates with various stakeholders to secure funding for water projects and facilitates regional initiatives such as the Safe Clean Water Program. As a Commissioner for both the Natural Resources and Environmental Commission in South Pasadena and the Youth Climate Commission in Los Angeles County, Emily advises on sustainability and climate action policies. Previous roles include a CivicSpark AmeriCorps Fellow in the Mayor's Office of Sustainability in Los Angeles, a Management Intern in the City of South Pasadena’s Planning Division, and a Policy Intern at the Asian Pacific Islander Forward Movement. Emily holds a Master of Urban Planning from USC and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Analysis and Sociology from Pitzer College.
