Eric Wood

Eric Wood currently serves as the Mass Timber DfMA Practice Lead and Facade Designer at Stantec since February 2024. With extensive experience in facade engineering and project management, Eric has been working as a Facade Specialist and Practice Lead at Morrison Hershfield since March 2019, focusing on innovative facade solutions and complex enclosure systems. Previous roles include Senior Project Manager at Fraser Health Authority, Project Manager at Seagate Structures specializing in mass timber building envelopes, and Project Technologist at BC Housing where responsibilities included capital planning and project implementation for both owned and non-profit assets. Early career experiences involve roles as a Development Consultant for commercial projects and a Property Information Collector at BC Assessment, complemented by a background as a Lumber Grader at Tolko Industries. Eric holds a Certificate of Technology in Architectural and Building Engineering Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and is a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor from Okanagan College.
