Fahmid Islam

Fahmid Islam is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in aviation engineering and project management. Currently serving as the Aviation Engineering Team Lead at Stantec since June 2023, Fahmid has successfully led a team of specialists and managed a multi-billion-dollar airport project in Canada. As a co-founder of Pastel Bakes Inc., Fahmid has demonstrated strong financial acumen, securing funding and preparing essential business documents. Prior roles include Aviation Planning Manager at Nieuport Aviation and Manager of the PMO at SNC-Lavalin, where project management and civil engineering expertise were further developed. Fahmid holds an MBA from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from The University of British Columbia, complemented by an International Baccalaureate Diploma from the American International School Dhaka.
