Fernando del Monte

Fernando del Monte, P.E. is a seasoned geotechnical engineer currently serving as the North American Discipline Lead for Geotechnical at Stantec since May 2018. In this role, Fernando oversees the advancement of geotechnical skills and innovation, manages community connectivity and governance of technical standards, and supports business development initiatives. Previously, Fernando held the position of Project Manager and Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Stantec, focusing on water resources and flood control projects. Prior experience includes a role as Civil Engineer at Tetra Tech, emphasizing dam design and project management. Fernando holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton and a Master's degree in Engineering with a focus on Geotechnics from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
