Gilbert Browning

Gilbert Browning is a Principal Archaeologist and Resource Group Lead at Stantec, where they have been contributing since 2019. They previously served as a Senior Archaeologist at Evans and DeShazo Archaeology and Historic Preservation from 2016 to 2020, and worked as an Archaeologist at Albion Environmental from 2012 to 2016. Gilbert's earlier roles included being a Cultural Resources Management Technician at Pacific Legacy Historic Preservation and an Archaeological Assistant at the Anthropological Studies Center. They hold a Master’s degree in Cultural Resource Management and a B.A. in Anthropology/Archaeology from Sonoma State University.
