Gillian Edwards serves as the Vice President and Regional Growth Lead for Western Canada at Stantec since January 2016, in addition to holding the position of Sector Lead for Water. Prior to this role, Gillian worked at WorleyParsons, where responsibilities included Director of Treatment and Core Service Manager, along with experience as a Process Engineer focusing on municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment projects in Alberta. Gillian's career in engineering began at Associated Engineering, Inc., contributing as a Process Engineer on similar projects in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Gillian holds a Master of Applied Science in Environmental Engineering from The University of British Columbia, obtained between 1997 and 2003, and received education at University College of the Cariboo from 1994 to 1997.
