Grant Maxwell is the NZ Infrastructure Resilience Leader at Stantec, based in Nelson. With over 25 years of experience, Maxwell specializes in geotechnical engineering, resilience, and project leadership, actively contributing to natural disaster response and recovery across Aotearoa, Australia, and the South Pacific. Previously, Maxwell held senior roles at WSP Environment & Energy, MWH Global, and Tonkin & Taylor, among others. Maxwell earned a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Civil and Geotechnical from the University of Canterbury. In addition to engineering, Maxwell founded a wholefoods cafe aimed at promoting health through nutritious eating.
