Ian Chan

Ian Chan has extensive experience in the engineering field, currently serving as Industrial Studio Lead and Principal at Stantec since December 2012, with previous roles including Mechanical Discipline Lead and Senior Associate. Prior to Stantec, Ian worked as a Senior Mechanical Designer at Cobalt Engineering LLP from November 2005 to November 2012, overseeing Junior and Intermediate Designers. Ian began the engineering career as an Engineering Student at Brown Strachan Associates, providing sound transmittance analysis for residential buildings in early 2005. Ian holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, earned between 1999 and 2005, and completed high school education at Eric Hamber Secondary from 1994 to 1999.
