Jaimie Handscomb

Jaimie Handscomb is an experienced engineering leader in the industrial buildings sector, currently serving as the Industrial Buildings Engineering Lead for Stantec in Canada East since October 2009. Throughout a distinguished career that began with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Jaimie has held various leadership roles, including Principal and Discipline Lead for the buildings business center in Ontario Southwest. Key responsibilities have included project oversight, risk evaluation, business development, and team collaboration across multiple projects. Prior to Stantec, Jaimie held significant positions at Design Systems Canada LTD, HTS Engineering Ltd., Energy, Mines and Resources Canada, and General Motors of Canada, demonstrating a robust background in HVAC/process engineering and project management.
